L’assise Lacydon s’inspire des fragments de bois fossilisés des embarcations romaines du musée d’Histoire de Marseille. Cette création interroge par sa forme et sa proximité avec la collection du musée. Les fibres d’osier brut forment une surface texturée, évoquant un nid géant, brouillant ainsi l’interprétation de cet objet.
The Lacydon seat is inspired by the fossilized wood fragments from Roman boats at the Museum of History in Marseille. This creation raises questions with its shape and its proximity to the museum’s collection. Raw wicker fibers form a textured surface, evoking a giant nest, thus muddling the interpretation of this object.
